Will your water supply keep up?

Measure the water arriving at your machine, plan usable tank time and compare specifications in the same units.

1. Measure your water supply

With the pressure washer disconnected, time the supply hose filling a measured container. Test with the same hose and connections you will use on site.

Repeat the test when other water users are running. A bucket test measures flow; it does not verify inlet pressure, water quality or whether your machine supports tank feed.

2. Plan your tank runtime

Estimate continuous trigger-on time before usable water is depleted.

Enter usable volume after allowing for a reserve. Refill must be sustainable. Trigger-off periods, bypass arrangements and actual operating flow can change the result. Never run the pump dry.

3. Put specifications in the same units

Flow and pressure describe different things. Theoretical hydraulic power (kW) = bar × L/min ÷ 600; it is not an electrical rating or a cleaning-performance guarantee. Nozzle, surface, temperature and cleaning method also matter.
